i think nasus would out scale sion because of the 20% life steal.
but looking JUST at the 2 skills Sion > Nasus, because nasus' triggers on everything he kills with Q, while sion's triggers on everything he kills.
but 1year farmed nasus > 1 year farmed sion in 1v1. (wither FTW)

nasus dies. since his max hp < 1.5% of sion's.
sion dies. Dmg on usb to restore mac. since his max hp < 2.5 x nasus Q dmg.

in a 5v5 with a nasus on one side and a sion on the other:
nasus is a 5khp tank with infinite damage on Q.
Sion is a infinite hp dude that can just build movementspeed because he'll survive anything anyway with 1.5% of infinite AD.
Nasus can be killed by almost anything before he can land his Q to 1 shot people.
Sion can only be killed by health scaling damage abilities before he can 5x AA to 1 shot people.
so quite obviously Sion > Nasus.
because infinite health + 1.5% of infinite damage > infinite damage.
I'm not sure what CR I need yet. 5e giving monsters class levels dmg. So yeah, about those 'design your own monster' rules. So, coming into 5th edition after a long break, and trying to design some encounters.
